I received a bag of Gold Blend whole beans recently and have been using them in a french press with much success. I grind a small batch of beans every few days or so and found that a medium/fine grind releases a fresh, clean and rich coffee flavour. I find the aroma while it’s brewing is great and the slightly sweet, chocolatey coffee flavour very satisfying and every bit as good as our usual beans but local. Highly recommended. It’s great to see that Mad Mutt enjoy their pooches as much as their coffee too.
